Christian Eriksen must postpone his fairytale comeback in the Danish football national team. Good nine months after his cardiac arrest at the European Championship final round Last summer, the midfielder from FC Brentford should play again for his homeland – but Eriksen has fallen off to Corona and had to go quarantine in England. National coach Kasper Hjulmand had nominated the 30-year-old for the test international matches in the Netherlands (March 26) and against Serbia (March 29th). “I was recently in London to see him. I saw him in the training and in the game, and he is physically very, very fit,” said the former Mainz Bundesliga coach. In mid-February, Eriksen, which had been used a defibrillator, was given to FC Brentford’s Premier League Comeback. He collapsed in the first European Championship group match of Danes in Copenhagen against Finland on 12 June in Copenhagen and had to be reanimized. He just escaped death.
