The German basketball professional Franz Wagner has been voted the so-called “All-Rokie First Team” from the NBA.
The Orlando Magic wing player is one of the five best newcomers to the North American professional league.
84 of the 100 voting journalists elected Wagner in the “First Team”.
The 20-year-old had completed a strong debut season in the NBA with an average of 15.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists.
The Berlin -born Berliner ended up in fifth place in the election for the best rookie.
The team from Florida was the second worst team in the entire league with only 22 season wins and 60 defeats for the Orlando Magic.
For this, the Magic will be allowed to select first in the annual talent selection.
