The former German junior national player was deployed in 32 second division games in the current season, with five goals and four templates. 96 sports director Marcus Mann about Besuschkow: “He is a very ball-safe player and, at the age of 24, fits perfectly into the desired age structure of the team, from which we hope for a positive development.”

Besuschkow was trained in the youth of VfB Stuttgart. After stations at Eintracht Frankfurt, Holstein Kiel and Royal Union Saint Gilloise in Belgium, he moved to Jahn Regensburg in summer 2019. He decided to move to Hanover because he had been shown a clear plan for the next few years in the contract talks, with which he could fully identify.
